Hello Everyone, Greetings to u. I got banned from 6/2 to 6/29 again due to my "Takashi" thread. But I'm back again. The head of the NRC toured the Fort Calhoun Nuclear plant which is now underwater. A 10 mile evacuation around the plant has been ordered, but all references of the evacuation have been scrubbed from online news sites.  But a Google news search for 10 mile fort calhoun evacuation shows no results about the evacuation, only articles talking about how hard it would be to evacuate a 10 mile radius around many of the US nuclear plants. There also has been an Fort Calhoun evacuation map posted on the (NEMA) Nebraska Emergency Management Website. Also, this nuclear plant has the potential to radiate 15,000 square miles of corn fields, which it is doing now. On my Takashi thread back on March 15, 2011, I mentioned that at least three cores had melted at Fukushima. Now at the beginning of June that was confirmed. Governments have to protect Big Business like G.E. at all costs due to their bribery. So keep drinking the Kool-Aid. |

It's amazing what is happening. 21st century and I'm watching video of sandbags surrounding vital electric components at a nuclear facility with pumps shooting water over the walls of bags.... Is this the best we can do? There is also the issue of the water intakes being incapacitated by flooding. WTF? |

Usually, one third of the fuel assemblies are replaced during a refueling cycle leaving two thirds of them hot and inside the reactor. The fuel assemblies are removed to the SFP for a 5 year cool down and then they are loaded into dry cask storage. They must maintain cooling to both the reactor and the SFP. |

In the interviews that I have been listening to in Hong Kong and Japan about Fukushima a few times Ft. Calhoun has started coming up in the radio interviews. The main issue is the "super pure water" that must be pumped into the chamber that houses the spent rods. If the water is not super pure water, then it clogs up the pipes. The water around the plant is dirty brackish water. Do they have a high grade water filter for flood waters? Probably only for tap water. There is a serious problem here. Why would the NRC chairman come out to the plant, unless there has been an event already?  |

I noticed this last night in local news clip about Ft. Calhoun, they just non-chalantly mentioned the evacuation in passing as they were talking about the plant. I had to back the video up twice to sure I heard it right. But it wasnt mentioned again and it wasnt in the article that went with the video or in the title of the vid. Just bizarre. |
