Yes, I'm a professional engine builder. I am very familiar with that engine. It is an old idea. In 96 chevy built a 4.3L V8, a 265 CI, and looked Identical to the LT1 engine. It has a one piece rear main seal, 3" stroke. incorporate that crank into a late madel block, and you have a late model one piece seal, 4 bolt, Vortec 302. Now that is something I want to build.
