Halifax Bank of Scotland selling OZ banking arm!

HOLY SHIT!

In order to 'balance its books', Halifax Bank of Scotland is selling off its australian 'arm' of business.

That its for £1.6 Billion is not a considerable sum if you look at it in terms of slice of the financial pie in OZ.

I am fucking shocked, and pulling all of my money out of HBOS here in the UK, because if they are pawning off valuable estate such as whole arms of business, things in their board room must be pretty hairy right now.
