[quote:Anonymous Coward 898092:MV8xMDg5NzM1XzE3MzcwOTUyX0FCRUMzNTE=] [quote:Hillcrest] they're going to destroy it all, it's absolutely heartbreaking :( And yet you probably drive a gasoline powered car. It all starts with us not them. you need to get off the collective guilt trip. you have a group that desires certain goods to be supplied and a company willing to provide same to make profit, but it is the responsibility of the company providing the good(s) to obtain them in a responsible manner... WE DIDN'T DRILL THE FUCKING HOLE... can't you morons figure this out? is it too simple for you? grow a brain.
+1 Yeah..there's nothing wrong with using resources. it's the cutting corners of things (ie. safety devices, and scrimping on details) that led to this disaster...i've worked with some dangerous stuff but you have to have back up plans and you have to have safety guidelines that ARE practiced. you can't cut corners. now if this was a false flag that's a different story. and a different discussion. what are we going to say when we travel to the stars, its too dangerous? i admit we need alternatives in place. but it's greed and cutting corners that caused this.
