[quote:Anonymous Coward 1050037:MV8xMTQ0ODk4XzE4NDA0MDQ3X0JGNjUwRjg=] [quote:Anonymous Coward 1048150] Yeah , im sure Americans cannot wait to take over those jobs that pay $7.75 a hr and actually require a person to do physical labor for 8 hours a day. Is this supposed to be sarcastic? I don't understand why anyone without a job would not take a job for $7.75 an hour requiring a person to do physical labor for 8 hours a day. When did everyone decide that they were entitled to a $100,000 a year job? It is time for american's to stop complaining.....get up, get dressed and work.....
Yeah, ill hold my breath to see the over 5 million people in america that are on welfare programs, decide to start working a physcially demanding job for 40 + hours a week at $7.50 /hr , when they can sit at home and make more money doing nothing. Keep dreaming.
I got this in an email, so I checked it out. Operation wetback did deport a lot of illegals, but the numbers are up to debate. I did find these numbers on snopes. [

] That would seam to be the high side of reports, but I think if you look at the numbers before operation wetback, you will see the low side reports were just really unlikely.
What did
Rep. Hoover, Dem. Truman, and Rep. Eisenhower have in common?
Here is something that should be of
great interest for you to pass around.
I didn't know of this
until it was pointed out to me.
Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert
Hoover ordered the
deportation of ALL
illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to
American
citizens that desperately needed
work..
Harry
Truman deported over two million Illegal's after
WWII to create jobs
for returning veterans.
And then again in 1954, President Dwight
Eisenhower deported 13 million
Mexican Nationals! The
program was called 'Operation
Wetback'. It was
done so WWII and Korean
Veterans would have a better chance at jobs.
It took 2 Years, but
they deported them!
Now...if they could deport the illegal's
back then - they could sure do it today.
Don't forget to
pay your taxes...
12
million Illegal
Aliens are depending on you!
