Original Message For all you Doomers... I was digging through some of my apocalypse film stash and rewatched "Last Night" from 1998.

Basically, it's more of a drama than anything else. Humanity has had considerable advanced notice to prepare for the potential destruction of earth due to an unexplained space event (it seems to be an incoming supernova.)

The film follows several characters and how they spend what might be their "Last Night."

It's not the best film ever made, but I enjoyed it.

Spoiler:

David Cronenberg's cameo as a gas company executive calling every single customervin the city to wish them a fond farewell, and to assure them their gas will be flowing to the very end was a really good touch in my opinion. Also features Sarah Polley, of Dawn of the Dead 04 fame.
