Original Message St. George, The Dragon Slayer....from midieval times, a figure of mythology (similar to our St. George...everything that he says is mythology), St. George the Dragon Slayer´s statue is displayed in churches and cathedrals throughout Europe and Britain (maybe our St. George will have a statue or two dedicated to him), and they have days of celebration in honor of St. George...
OUR St. George, amazingly showed up at Kenner, LA and almost instantly, the convoy of military vehicles began pouring into N.O, almost as if he had waved a majic wand.

Here are a couple of reports of St. George´s miraculous events in N.O. where he faced this dragon (some already posted under other threads):

Senator Mary Landrieu said the following below

Saturday, September 03, 2005

"But perhaps the greatest disappointment stands at the breached 17th Street levee. Touring this critical site yesterday with the President, I saw what I believed to be a real and significant effort to get a handle on a major cause of this catastrophe. Flying over this critical spot again this morning, less than 24 hours later, it became apparent that yesterday we witnessed a hastily prepared stage set for a Presidential photo opportunity; and the desperately needed resources we saw were this morning reduced to a single, lonely piece of equipment. The good and decent people of southeast Louisiana and the Gulf Coast -- black and white, rich and poor, young and old -- deserve far better from their national government.

FROM GERMAN TV
There was a striking dicrepancy between the CNN International report on the Bush visit to the New Orleans disaster zone, yesterday, and reports of the same event by German TV.

ZDF News reported that the president´s visit was a completely staged event. Their crew witnessed how the open air food distribution point Bush visited in front of the cameras was torn down immediately after the president and the herd of ´news people´ had left and that others which were allegedly being set up were abandoned at the same time.

1. bush didn´t sign executive orders to deploy the military until Thursday, even though the gov. of Louisiana sent a formal, but impassioned plea for such deployment on Sunday.
2. bush´s very own, much trumpeted Department of Homeland security, has, on its web site a mission statement that declares DHS will assume primary responsibility for any large-scale disaster. Since Mr bush created DHS and appointed Jerk--er--Chertoff as its head, bush is ultimately responsible for its effectiveness.

Preparing America

In the event of a terrorist attack, natural disaster or other large-scale emergency, the Department of Homeland Security will assume primary responsibility on March 1st for ensuring that emergency response professionals are prepared for any situation. This will entail providing a coordinated, comprehensive federal response to any large-scale crisis and mounting a swift and effective recovery effort. The new Department will also prioritize the important issue of citizen preparedness. Educating America´s families on how best to prepare their homes for a disaster and tips for citizens on how to respond in a crisis will be given special attention at DHS.

This is not about elected officials´ inappropriate use of funds, but about political thugs and criminals, no better than the looters on the streets of N.O. except a higher social/economic strata. Halliburton has already been mentioned for the toxic clean up of N.O..

I have posted here before that Haliburton, Cheney´s buddies, and Carlisle, the Bush crowd, have no bid contracts on Iraq. Halliburton charges the U.S. Govt. $32 for every meal served in Iraq. Thats $32 for a burger and fries, $32 for fish sticks and cole slaw, $32 for eggs out of a container, grits and toast, or, my all time favorite in the US Army, S.O.S., $32 for creamed chip beef on toast.

And, remember there is STILL $9 BILLION missing from the Iraq budget that they cannot account for.

HOW MUCH PROOF DO WE NEED TO HAVE CONVICTION OF HEART ABOUT THESE GUYS?
