[quote:cRoSS FiRe:MV8xNTYxOTM1XzI1ODA1NTkzXzY1MTE2NEZD] [quote:riderr]Ok,I guess I will ask.since you been in the bussiness. You probably know that real injured people do not want to talk about things, that bring back the memories of what was lost.Health wise.My attorney is very open to me and friendly. I had asked her not to file until after my surgery.some drs do not like torts.I live in a no fault state.I know I have life changing injuries.Great doctors. They way I feel. The attorney is working very very hard.so I dont want to be bother. Its policy limites.I guess I will ask what the other persons insurance was.He had brake failure and its in the police report.I do not know if he was giving a ticket. We have a good police dept here.Very rare. But he was at total fault and admitted brake failure to police. Thanks for your time :red_heart:
Brake failure? I can say at least this. It could get complicated, but not to worry, it could potentially end up better. That is a MAJOR game changer. Now, I can tell you this. You NEED to communicate with your attorney. Keep a daily journal, recording daily tasks that you can or cannot do (VERY important), whether it's taking out the garbage or having sex (you don't have to respond to any of this, just letting ya know). All of it, where it hurts, when it hurts which way you are twisting/moving, or if you can't at all (times of day important too). This all factors in. Please be open and honest about any life changes that have occurred since your accident, even if it seems minor. Keep any and all mileage to and from the attorney's office, doctor's offices and pharmacies. Prescription receipts (she should have already told you that by now). Parking/toll receipts as well. Document everything, no matter how insignificant you think things are. You misunderstood me about the tort reform, but that's okay. ;) We're not talking about malpractice, we're talking about personal injury. You sound like you're in very good hands. :hf:
Rear ended
zero liability
Lumbar decompression two levels
Future lumbar fusion needed
zero loss of income
I have a great attorney who is also a doctor.I have 100 thousand personal injury coverage on my policy and 100 thousand under insured motorist with two vehicles.Stacked
I do not know the insurance of the at fault driver
But I am guessing it was under his parents policy
I really would appreciate if anyone knows a ball park figure
I am sure its a policy limit case.
Is there any situation where you can get more then the policy limit.
Thanks
Please do not think I am greedy
I am not
If you were in my shoes you would probably ask too
My attorney is taking this case to trail if there is no settlement. So this makes me think, that the other person had very good insurance and not the minimum
