+10000000 [quote:Anonymous Coward 1298807] This is nothing new. It has been going on for a long time. I'm not sure what raw horse meat is going for these days, but in the mid 90's it was going for $18 an ounce in Japan. Nothing like loading an MD 11 full of live horses out of SeaTac on their way to Japan. I could tell you some stories about that shit.
:verysad: [quote:Northforker] How many can you feed? Do something or STFU There are more than the land will support. I fed 3 of them for 11 years The BLM will leave plenty of seedstock out there.
Don't wild horses eat wild grass? As far as leaving seedstock... 50 is hardly enough to call seedstock. [quote:Don Q] I been saying for years now they make Corn Beef and dog food from horse meat. No one believe me. :(
:scared: Horse meat in those cans of corned beef or the corned beef we buy around St Partrics day?
There is much protest over the roundup of wild horses but
the Bureau of Land Management continues to do this in secrecy. The horses are being sold oversees by the Bureau of Land Management for meat.. and Bureau of Land Management profits.

The Foundation asks Congress to stop the illegal roundup now in order to save these herds from being destroyed.
As soon as The Cloud Foundation realized they had not received the Environmental Assessment, nor had anyone they knew, Oregon wild horse advocate, Kathleen Lewis, contacted Portland Attorney, Geordie Duckler. He quickly filed a request for a temporary restraining order. It was denied by Federal Judge Hernandez and this denial allowed the roundup to begin today.
The Cloud Foundation believes BLM’s actions are a violation of the public trust and they vow to continue to fight for the rights of America’s wild horses and burros to roam freely on their legally designated ranges. They encourage members of the public to contact their U.S senators and representatives and request intervention on behalf of our nation’s wild horses and burros before they are managed into oblivion.
