But i love it! =D
My days of desfile nas ruas, ended a long time ago, but I do love it so Such a happy time. Have fun for me, and take some good pictures :) V.
Yes it is... Beatiful time here... =) I used to play in the streets when I was a little girl... long time ago too. But I watch it every year and love it! =)
What neighborhood? Maybe I met you...lol
I'm in the south... the carnaval here is not so strong as in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo or Salvador... =/
So you're Gaucha! Very nice down there...its like a different country in some ways You're right, not the same as Rio. Rio definitely a bit more disorganized, a little more hedonistic. "on time" has a different definition in Rio lol I grew up in Rio, right near the beach, and I had family who played and wrote music for the bands, so it was sort of hard to ignore Life in Rio would stop to a complete standstill, back when the desfile went down the main boulevard from Candelaria Its different before the Sambodromo, I kind of miss it. It was like life suddenly stopped, no matter how 'serious' and people focused on what was really important: having a great time for a few days, lol We could all use that kind of release. Puts things in persepctive
