[quote:Keep2theCode:MV8yMDAxMDE0XzMzNjE1NTgyXzZCOTdCMUVF] [quote:Morganite:MV8yMDAxMDE0XzMzNjE1NDYyX0Y0RDZGNjU3] Thanks for your take on it - 1 Well, we know that they (their souls) just arrived out from under the altar and now they are STANDING CLOTHED WITH WHITE ROBES. John says "after these things I saw"...and he see's the 144,000 on earth getting sealed and This large multitude STANDING. 2 "from all the nations" means from all the nations, you can't be true to the text and decide to eliminate jews and make it refer to gentiles only. All nations, kindreds and people is very clear... This is the the body of christ made up of gentiles and messianic jews. 3 I don't know Greek, but I read somewhere that the greek word means "out of the time and place of".. I think the word is "ek"... but I could be wrong of the spelling. Also, yes it is the 6th seal so no, it's not the time of the bowl judgements b/c the 7thseal opens the trumpets before the bowls. Maybe there's no reference to the ekklesia during the opening of the seals is because John was up in heaven(Rev.4:1) seeing them being opened and the church was/is still on earth.... having not arrived in heaven yet. That's why he didn't see us there in heaven while the seals were being opened because we're here on earth during the 1st 5 seals and then he sees us in heaven during the 6th.
For detail on the Greek, please go to http://www.fether.net/2012/04/20/end-times-bible-prophecy-summary/ and scroll down to "the huge crowd". Rev. 7:14 is where the angel tells John that not only is the crowd "coming", it is specified by the angel as "the great tribulation". This term is held by every scholar I've seen as referring specifically to the last half of the Tribulation, and only a tiny minority put the seals in the 2nd half (because they put all the judgments there). So unless one takes the view that all the judgments are in the 2nd half, the seals must be a part of the 1st half, and yet the crowd comes from the 2nd. Re. references to the church, it is not mentioned on earth either, so I still stand by my view that they're not there.
Thanks to Allison on Rapture Watch for reminding me and everyone else that Yum Kippur is NOT OVER YET!!! Please read??
Yom Kippur has now begun, today at sunset Israel timezone. This correlates to 8am PST, 10am CST, 11am EST in the US. Yom Kippur is from sunset today till sunset tomorrow. Here is some very interesting ideas pertaining to Yom Kippur and its possible prophetic fulfilment. Many calendars mark Yom Kippur as ending today but based upon the sighting of the new moon for Rosh Hashanah, it is from today till tomorrow. You can do some research on what Yom Kippur is and how it is celebrated in google which I suggest. I would highly recommend doing a study on the paralells between the 40 days of repentance between Elul 1 till Yom Kippur at which time the door of heaven is closed, as well as the books in heaven and judgement is sealed, with the 40 days and 40 nights of Jesus' fast when He was tempted in the wilderness and also the 40 days and nights Moses' was on the mountain and came down in glory. Also read about Jonah and the 40 day warning to Nineveh.

The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry...The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
AMEN TO THAT!! MAYBE THE LORD WILL COME????
