[quote:Anonymous Coward 27066494:MV8yMTcyNDEzXzM4MzQ3NzY4X0E2NDAxRTQy] [quote:WizzleDizzle:MV8yMTcyNDEzXzM4MzQ0NTkyX0QwM0M5MDEz] ...just an FYI -- the file count isn't ~300 anymore, it's closer to 3,000 ;)
What I have done is used a program like toozl on a thumb drive, and loaded all of the books on there. I can plug into any usb and run my own operating system. Or pop out the micro sd card and put it into anything that can read text to read the books. Another alternative to hauling around 1000 books n a bob. Short intro to Toozl, When sitting down at an internet café or borrowing a friend’s computer, inserting the TOOzL memory stick will keep my data and activity completely separate from the host computer. The software package contains apps like Firefox, Skype, OpenOffice, and Gimp, so it has practically everything needed for a quick productivity session while away from your personal computer. TOOzL runs on Windows, but should handle any version from 98 on.
"Topics include: - Dangerous Plants and Animals - Food and Water - Navigation - General Urban and Wilderness Preparedness - Evasion Techniques - and much more!"

Anyone else have a databank similar to this? I want to collect and print as many (useful) guides as I can in the coming weeks. I have a nice collection of other books and manuals started, so adding to them would be great :)
