Original Message O'Neil, an 18-month-old labrador retriever, was guiding Danielle Alvarado and Todd Jurek of Guide Dogs for the Blind in San Rafael, California when an out-of-control car came racing towards them on the sidewalk. O'Neil alerted Jurek and Alvarado by jerking his head back, Jurek then quickly guided Alvarado and O'Neil to safety. No one was injured in the incident, including the 93-year-old woman driving who lost control of her vehicle while parallel parking. The entire dramatic scene was captured on video by nearby security cameras.
