[/quote] A lot of youtube videos about the inner earth speak about this. They state that you are pulled toward the crust, and not the center of the earth. If you sailed or flew into the opening you might not even notice because it would just seem like you are going straight. You would end up in a different environment though. It's supposedly warm, and you would realize that something was different. The arctic animals travel north for the winter instead of south, and I believe this is because birds and bears alike travel to the inner earth.
