[quote:Anonymous Coward 45453076:MV8yNTQ5NDY3XzQ0MjQ0NjMwX0YxQTY1REM2] I have chosen not to eat anything from the pacific. I literally crave seafood. But I ain't gonna do it without a high quality detector. [/quote]
Original Message
So my parents and I live on the north coast of california.
We have been broke a lot lately and can't afford much. So when my cousin recently offered to take my dad on his fishing boat out in the ocean, he couldn't say no.
They are going early tomorrow to get butt loads of salmon & halibut etc.
Is it safe to eat this fish from the ocean? Or is the fukushima radiation making it too dangerous?
This is really for my own self reassurance. If it were really dangerous my parents would still eat it no matter what I told them.
I would like to know though so thank you for any comments
