[quote:Shamar:MV8yNjExMjI1XzQ1NjcyMjc1XzI5NDg3OTE5] [quote:ANHEDONIC:MV8yNjExMjI1XzQ1NjY5OTg1XzQ4RTQyNDg2] [quote:in5d:MV8yNjExMjI1XzQ1NjY0MjUwXzczMUY5OTc4] If you want to go down the rabbit hole a little deeper, then research archons. According to the Gnostic texts, these are beings who reside near the center of the Milky Way Galaxy and feed off of our fear. They are also the ones who are at the "top of the pyramid". According to John Lash's work, he states they they cannot incarnate into the physical form and are only capable of replicating what has already been created. They are jealous of our ability to create. In essence, they placed a computer overlay on Earth that keeps us locked into an interactive app of fear. These are not John Lash's words, it's just an analogy.
Speaking of fear though - it is the 'archon' ideology/theory itself that promotes fear. The notion that you are trapped and imprisoned in some environment against your will - created by nefarious beings of a higher intelligence that control/manipulate things and cannot be perceived? What could be more troubling/alarming? It is detrimental in the sense that it is disempowering and likely to contribute to feelings of helplessness and dismay. It feeds the fear-response of the physical/egoic mind which works against the process of fostering a higher state of awareness (awakening). If a person believes that evil/nefarious beings can simulate the Earth experience and be 'at the top of the pyramid' - what makes them so sure the same principle does not hold true throughout the rest of existence? Why stop with Earth? Why not declare the rest of the Universe and all of the dimensions as being run by a similar model of control and imprisonment by a hierarchy of more intelligent beings with malicious intent? How does harming & manipulating others lead to empowerment and a higher ranking/status in the non-physical dimensions? Does this not again disregard the principle of cause & effect, and reaping what you sow? IMHO this theory is one of many human theories attempting to explain the duality that is experienced on this physical plane. Replace 'archons' with 'satan & demons' and you have the same principle. Humans do not accept the darkness that they are capable of creating through their own choices and decisions - so they need a non-human scapegoat to attribute it to in order to protect their perception of their identity as a 'human'. It is part of the collective 'shadow' element of the psyche. As long as a person's perception is divided along dualistic lines, they will not internalize the awareness of unity consciousness. Seeing all that exists as parts of the same 'whole'. The archon theory cannot explain the the 'life review' process of the Near-Death Experience. If such an experience was based on trickery/deception when it would not divulge the higher truth of the interconnectedness of all things and it would not foster an increased sense of empathy & compassion in the individual who has such an experience. If you read the work of Kenneth Ring studying the aftereffects of the NDE in those who had them - it eventually brings about a spiritual awakening in many of the individuals who had them. That process enables the individual to transcend his/her fears and especially the fear of 'death'. It brings about a strong intention to be of service to others and contribute to the betterment of humanity. So if these alleged 'archons' feed off of fear - why would the Near-Death Experience and the experience of being in the light ultimately bring about a process of internal change/transformation that enables the individual to abandon fears and negative emotions and fosters a sense of inner peace? If the 'archons' feed off fear and were controlling that experience then those experiences should all be terrifying and serve to promote fear-based thoughts. Yet that is not the case and even many individuals who gave accounts of 'negative' NDE's later report that the experience ended up changing them for the better.
