[/quote] This is the problem I am facing though. When it happens matters absolutely nothing to me. I have been living for the past couple of years as though I were already dead, but too lazy or afraid to do the work of dying. Like a lot of us, I am sure, I have hoped for some sort of doom which involves the possibility of a swift and relatively painless death (environmental, war, whatever), yet I had never even calculated the risk of the possibility of such a pandemic that is occurring in the US. I have been following Ebola news for over a month now.
I have never been so concerned as I am now.
This morning I woke up super early for the eclipse. I took a psychedelic substance in order to "enhance" the experience of viewing said eclipse this morning.
In the hours following the eclipse (after reading headlines about a certain person dying during the eclipse), I have experienced what I am calling "psychedelic-enhanced paranoid-psychosomatic disease perception"
Bullshit sounding thing. And it is. But it really has been fucking with me.
The seemingly "physical" symptoms that have manifested all day today are really worrisome.
I don't know what I am trying to accomplish by posting this.
Maybe to see if other people are giving themselves panic-induced symptoms without drugs. I don't know.
I'm sorry.
