The issue of global warming is more political than scientific. Most of my colleagues around the country and the world do not believe in any catastrophic impact from global warming relating to the burning of fossil fuels. Even the most ardent atmospheric scientists only believe that we would warm about 1 degree Fahrenheit from man-caused releases of CO2. Most of the issue with global warming is related to politics and the media hype associated with it.
