Yes I do agree he was good in all the above movies mentioned too, but it was just something about his way of narrating the story of Danny Parker/Tom Van Allen that made me feel for the character. He was also good in Columbus Day because the role sempt to suit him. Both movies I have mentioned and a few others have slipped through the cracks. It shows me that he a risk taker and that he is willing to take on a role to make a movie a piece of art.
+1
Someone on a different thread suggested a prayer thread for Val - so this is it.
He is one of my favourite actors and also an amazing artist and poet who takes time to comment and get involved with his fans on Facebook. This thread is a way of giving to a man who gives a lot to others.
The media are invading his privacy and saying many things re Val's health.
He is often posting his art, occasional selfies and updates on his health on his Facebook page and he has previously commented that he is so grateful for the prayers and well wishes . it has moved him a lot.
As some of you know - Val is a christian scientist . (different from scientology) and part of that belief is that sickness is an illusion.
Whatever our differences - lets pray for Val to continue in his healing. He has already seen a miracle of prayer lets keep it going
Val has already said that he is grateful for our prayers.
I paid for an upgrade so this thread could stay clean and positive.
Lets not make this a religious debate - but rather faith filled prayer for the man and positive comments.
