[quote:bitofreason 46598154:MV8yODUyNjI2XzUwMTQ0Nzk0Xzg2N0ZFN0JC] You will always loose as the tenant. Paint that sucker. In the future anything they say needs to be written down and have them sign it. I learned that years ago when I was sued for giving a verbal notice I was moving instead of a written. Cost me $1900. Everything in writing, remember.. [/quote]

Ok so the property manager(( supper intendant )) told me 2+ yr's ago that if I picked a neutral light colour the walls wouldn't have to be painted when I move .....
so we picked out a very light very neutral colour together and the Supper went out and purchased it for me ...
Well I was told today by the owner of the building that it has to all be back to the " builders beige" before I leave @ end of this month...
Or he will charge me $1000.00 to have a 800sq feet apt painted
Can he do this legally ?????
What are my rights ??
