Original Message I got some rib tips from a local soul food place this week.....and I was trying to finish em tonight, was doing okay a while but at the end I felt like I was almost starting to choke from the cartilige bits and sorta puked some of it up by instinct. I know in looking around the cartilige bits are some of the best and most nutritious parts of the meat, so kinda wondered...anyone got tips (pardon the pun) on how to safely eat these bits? I'd love to eat them, but really fear choking on em or not being able to swallow em without puking now.
