Don't bother with the chicken heist go for the peacocks. They bring the big bucks.
You are very smart indeed. If he had peacocks that would wander in and make their wonderful call, I would post a different thread, as I don't believe they give eggs. Melek Taos himself endures in the spirit of the peacock.
Yep they lay eggs. Those fukers bring a pretty penny when they are fertilized.
My buddy in Simi had/has peacocks, I loved to hear them call out but I think it's kind of an aquired aural-taste, kinda like muslim prayer. If you hate it, you will hate it always or grow used to it, or always hate it. I mention the muslim, again, to honor Melek Taus.
I grew up in Simi. I moved way north in 1985. Now I have chickens. Lady down at the end of the road has peacocks. Another neighbor raises roosters, he has over 100 of them. It's like a symphony around here some days. If I ever moved back to the city, I would certainly miss the rural sounds. (not going to happen). Yes, in my experience, chickens lay more when they are happy and not stressed.
My neighbor is one of the best types, he has so many chickens they wander into my yard!
