[quote:CountryWise:MV8yOTg1NzcyXzUyODc1Mjc5X0JGNjFDNDhC] Be proud. But don't put her through it. Especially if it's linked to the IB curriculum. IB is the international backing program, teaches lots and lots of Agenda 21 style programs. That I'd be worried about. All 3 of my were accepted & I refused it. [/quote]

So my baby June, in 1st Grade - her teacher at the last PTO (We call them that in this State) - they are teaching her 3rd Grade English and Math since she "naturally" is able to pick up on the 1st/2nd grade material.
Now - I've read other threads... about gifted children being "targeted" -
Hell, I just read something about during the Cold War they really pushed the "gifted program" for students and "morphed" them...
So I'm super excited - yet also worried.
I'm not a mother, I'm a Dad - so there's a slight disconnect, (Boys love Mom, Girls Love Dad) - yet Dad's don't have that magic intuition that Mothers do.
Since it's a Public School, should I be worried?
