Original Message There are four people declared in the final report to have conducted the Sandy Hook autopsies--none of them Hartford Hospital trauma surgeon Dr. Lenworth Jacobs.

Why was Jacobs then called to "assist in the autopsies," or in some citings to "examine the autopsies," and who called him?

Whatever the answer, what Jacobs saw prompted him to contact the Executive Director of the American College of Surgeons with the news that some of the Sandy Hook victims could have survived.

"Following the events at Sandy Hook Elementary School, in Newtown, CT, Lenworth M. Jacobs, Jr., MD, FACS, a surgical leader and dedicated trauma surgeon, reached out to me with his concerns regarding the pattern of injury that was seen in the casualties. He personally embarked on a comprehensive review of the injuries and, through this examination process,
determined that providing first responders with more ready access to the sites of active shooter and mass casualty events could have a positive impact on survival." (David B. Hoyt, MD, FACS Executive Director, American College of Surgeons)

Was Jacobs called officially by the CT ME's office, or did one of those four autopsy doctors call Jacobs personally with the news that Carver was lying about all victims having "immediately lethal wounds?"

By the way, was that gal in Carver's office really fired for "showing someone Adam's body," or might she just have shown Jacobs the bodies of other victims--at which point he, too, realized they had survivable wounds?
