This isn't an incredibly serious situation, but I'm up for advice, or some laughs.
I'm not interested in dating but acquaintances kept suggesting I have coffee with this much older man. We have nothing in common outside some very common stuff. So anyway I kept asking what the point would be since we run into each other in a social group on occasion so we can do small talk, which I generally hate, then.
After being told it means nothing, just have coffee, I did. Now he calls all the time. I'm a texter not a talker, but he doesn't know how to text...or email. If I let it go to VM, he calls back in a couple of hours.
It wasn't even good coffee.
