[quote:mtn_mang:MV8zNDkyOTY4XzYyODg2Mzg1X0EzNjA1OTIw] Caught my first fish on the savage 3D topwater rat http://imgur.com/n93rtov Hooked up with several others on another rod using Texas rigged senkos but only landed one with that rod the others broke me off, only had 10lb test on it. Lost a lot of hooks, slip sinkers and senkos today. [/quote]

Got my ass up early today to get on the lake by sunrise. Daily temps have been mid to upper sixties lately here in the mountain state with temperatures today expected to be mid seventies.
What kind of lures do the glp fishers recommend? I plan on throwing mainly football head jigs, chatterbaits, crankbaits and soft plastics on a Texas or maybe wacky rig (typically Yum dingers)
Haven't hooked up with a bass this year and I'm getting desperate so any pro tips are greatly appreciated!
