To the hall of records, but this is also a misnomer because events that have ever happened arent filed away somewhere, like in a desk or filing cabinet. All events are happening simultaneously or are existing simultaneously, just not from our perspective.
So its like you possess a key or data hack into the events if the past, but only the events that are known to you.
This is why sometimes when you remember or access these 'memories' you can see them from 3rd person. You access the data you dont remember but data still accessible with your cipher.
Adepts into the occult are said to have been driven close to a frenzied madness, being able to access points not having witnessed, not only in times past but future past. The future will seem like the past to you because you will see it like a memory. Same as when john (purportedly him) wrote the book of Revelation. 'And behold I saw one appearing ... And he broke the seal ... etc.'
