[quote:Anonymous Coward 70663772:MV8zNzUzODAyXzY3MjE2MTQ1XzcwQ0U5OEM2] I'll be getting off work after the partial eclipse has begun and about 20 minutes before the full eclipse starts. In the Midwest, so Luna will already be near the horizon, and will be well below the horizon by the time maximum eclipse is reached. Still, waiting around for a bit for a partial with tree line shrouding her should make for some nice shots. I didn't miss the last total eclipse, got treated to a moon dog shot opportunity for being prepared early as well :) https://imgur.com/a/D2MSz [/quote]

It is the first Blue Moon Blood Moon visible from the U.S. since 1866!
Just in time for me to watch the sunrise. A bit chilly - 25 degrees F.
I can't wait. Anyone else? Any camera tips, besides getting the camera temperature acclimated?
