Original Message Just when you thought it was safe to BBQ, new research indicates that grilling meats at high temperature will produce Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons or PAH's for short. PAH exposure is through inhalation and through skin exposure, from a China study. PAH can cause lung disease and DNA mutation...(less than 50%)

Notice how cigarettes were demonized and how 2nd hand smoke can effect others. As a result, you can't smoke outside in various areas. Eventually I can see this happening with grilling as people become effected by PAH. Watch the lawsuits and then the banning of an American grilling Tradition...
