Original Message It seems that the ATF will make an example of Oklahoma when it passed it's medical marijuana bill...

Oklahoma became the 30th state to legalize medical marijuana, earlier this week, but residence who want to have a medical cannabis card and own a gun may see their hopes go up in smoke...

On Thursday, the ATF confirmed that the conditions of the 2011 open letter, which states that federal law prohibits anyone who is an "unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance" from "possessing firearms or ammunition", still stands. The letter says that anyone who uses marijuana, regardless of state law, "qualifies as an unlawful user of" the controlled substance, and is therefore prohibited from owning a gun.

This smacks directly in the face of the 2nd Amendment...
