Buy any phone at WalMart that had "CDMA" on package - That's Verizon!!! Half price Network! My friend has Verizon company phone and I have straighttalk - MOST times same number of bars reception - sometimes he has more - sometimes I do - but Mostly he does because his phone is a lot newer than mine $55 card a month = UNLIMITED text talk data plan
US Mobile has the same basic thing, but you can bring your own smart phone, just change out the sim card. You can choose either the GSM or LTE network,( if your phone will work on either one.) It is a pre pay and you can do other plans and pick and choose what you want. It allows for a lot of customization of your plan, if you don't go with an "unlimited" one. You pay through their website, so there is no searching for a card or location to buy extra minutes and monthly renewals can be set up on auto pay. I left Verizon, because I did not use enough of their basic plan. US Mobile saves me a lot and I still have the good coverage of that higher priced network. Might be worth checking out. I don't figure it would please every one, but it did me.
I'm thinking of moving from Sprint because they suck. We are grandfathered into an unlimited plan that doesn't slow down after a data limit. Last month, we used over 200Gb since we hotspot at home after dumping Comcast, because they suck too. Has been working out ok.
Verizons top plan says they may limit speeds after 75Gb. I'm wondering if that is actually the case, or just if the network is congested...and how often that actually happens.
Thanks for any info on Verizon as well, in terms of coverage and non-suckage
