[quote:Crunch62:MV8zOTYyNTk1XzgwMzcwMDg0XzUwNUUxODM3] [quote:KTee:MV8zOTYyNTk1XzgwMzUwNTkyX0RDMkQxREM4] Hey hey~ Anyhoozles was able to score a chainsaw and a 100lb propane tank. Little did I know that propane now is $4.a gal soooo fillin that bad boy is on the back burner so to speak.
If you tell the propane dealer that tank is your primary source for heating/cooking, you can save some $$. Fuel for heating and cooking is non-taxable (at least, here in CA). I have a big tank in my yard, but can't afford to fill it. I go in every few weeks and have smaller portable tanks filled. My dealer knows that this is our primary cooking fuel and doesn't add the tax. Hope it helps.
Continuation of another thread of wonderful people with the best ever ideas for practical prepping even for those with little money.
We discuss power outages including CME and EMP, heating and cooking methods, first aid, foods; we run disaster scenarios to see if we know what to do.
This is probably the only prepping thread a person would need, whether long-time prepper here to share, or newbie prepper here to learn and everyone in between.
