[quote:Pooka:MV8zOTYyNTk1XzgwNjA3MjE2XzEzMkM2MzI2] [quote:Crunch62:MV8zOTYyNTk1XzgwNTgyMTI5XzJCQzI1QTcw] Hibiclens is good stuff. 4% chlorhexidine solution. Disinfects skin for days. You can buy chlorhexidine solution at farm/feed stores for a fraction of the cost of Hibiclens.
I keep forgetting chlorhexidine - thank you for the reminder - wish I'd checked Amazon for that before I ordered a larger Hibiclens with dispenser as part of a large order from part of the $1,200 we received. [I want to switch to local stores only ASAP but right now that's more difficult with fewer open, so much exposure to anything people are coughing and breathing and passing around. Amazon is not my favorite by any means, but the convenience is undeniable. Also want to leave Walmart behind, despite the hit my budget will take. I just don't go out much at all these days, as I have multiple co-morbidities. Looks like that will continue for some months. Therefore Amazon has been a blessing in times of difficulty.]
Continuation of another thread of wonderful people with the best ever ideas for practical prepping even for those with little money.
We discuss power outages including CME and EMP, heating and cooking methods, first aid, foods; we run disaster scenarios to see if we know what to do.
This is probably the only prepping thread a person would need, whether long-time prepper here to share, or newbie prepper here to learn and everyone in between.
