[quote:KTee:MV8zOTYyNTk1XzgwODEzMTYzX0E2NDk2MEEw] *Warm smiles* Pooka As I mentioned previously I will need professional help in gardening for my talents lie elsewhere with what God bestowed upon me and planting isn't one of them. Your generous offer to come help us here would be received warmly however we are in Florida and the distance is too great. Thank you~ I have the desire do it(hydroponics) but lack the room needed .. especially in this small house that is filling up with prepping supplies very fast. The yard is quite large but it looks like we could make a Husquana commercial out of it due to it being very overgrown. Family at this time is not able to come help beat back the wilds for obvious reasons of the times. If I could talk my hubby into moving to a safer area I would but he is sentimental about this land and will not under any circumstances leave it. As much as I understand the sentiment I know we will run into very frosty times if the current state of affairs continues at full steam ahead. We have protection among our preps but what can 3 peeps do against (fireworks)of any kind? I promise tho that I will add as much seed/soil to my preps as possible for maybe if SHTF in a big way God will give me the help I need in completing the task~ Will try to pin this thread again on Monday and see if we can't get more on board. Blessings to all~ :hf::hf: [/quote]

Continuation of another thread of wonderful people with the best ever ideas for practical prepping even for those with little money.
We discuss power outages including CME and EMP, heating and cooking methods, first aid, foods; we run disaster scenarios to see if we know what to do.
This is probably the only prepping thread a person would need, whether long-time prepper here to share, or newbie prepper here to learn and everyone in between.
