[quote:Pooka:MV8zOTYyNTk1XzgwODE1MzQ5XzUyNDU2MDhF] KTee (and others)since you mentioned "fireworks" I want to bring up again fire extinguishers. Crucial to have several of these. The current group of trouble-makers have threatened to create house fires to establish their presence and purpose - need fire extinguishers. Further, it is known that the extremely large, professional-type fireworks have been purchased in multiple truckloads by those intending to be setting them off frequently, ostensibly to make normal citizens so accustomed to the sounds that they will believe as they continue hearing large booms, these are only fireworks, thus hiding the fact that the hard actions have begun by fireworks of a different kind, the kind that will cause death very quickly. I recommend we all cause a run on fire extinguishers - not to take from others - we surely will leave a plenty for everyone, but to be certain we have enough of our own. General thinking among the prepper community has gone from the foolish idea of "bugging out" with nowhere to go to remaining in place, the wisest idea. Fire extinguishers will be a large help in assisting to do exactly that - remain where we are - and safely. [/quote]

Continuation of another thread of wonderful people with the best ever ideas for practical prepping even for those with little money.
We discuss power outages including CME and EMP, heating and cooking methods, first aid, foods; we run disaster scenarios to see if we know what to do.
This is probably the only prepping thread a person would need, whether long-time prepper here to share, or newbie prepper here to learn and everyone in between.
