If you don't use it then! The wife was going to costco and asked me, a preper what I needed! I know that some of my stored cooking oils apx 5 gals are several years old so, Get 2-4 big jars of coconut oil! She got one :( Well one is better than none! She might be right as it only lasts a few years, But to me more is better!
As most of us know, one is none and two is one . . . .
Edible fats are one of my primary concerns. I have a book called "Agriculture in Fortess Europe" and you can follow the decline of the Nazis through the production of fats. Strange to say but that is what happened. That's what I'm looking for in my preps. Long winter? No problem. Vitamin D? Maybe. So many things in one simple observation. Already have men's and women's multivitamins in my preps. Get them while you still can. It's a basic supplement while you are gathering other stuff.
Continuation of another thread of wonderful people with the best ever ideas for practical prepping even for those with little money.
We discuss power outages including CME and EMP, heating and cooking methods, first aid, foods; we run disaster scenarios to see if we know what to do.
This is probably the only prepping thread a person would need, whether long-time prepper here to share, or newbie prepper here to learn and everyone in between.
