From the internet, hackers can mess with water, electric, nat-gas, traffic lights, communications, banking records, hospital records, pharmacy records, etc. etc. Now is more important than ever to be prepped! - MC
Yes, it surely is. Have your plans set, your water, food, protection from the elements - ALL elements- and communications in place. Plan to stay at home if at all possible, to maintain the safety and familiarity as well as your preps, neighbors, everything you know. It's possible you might have to leave but later be able to return. Bearing this in mind, have some things hidden carefully away, as difficult to find as possible, since if your property has been broached, all your preps and belongings likely are either stolen or damaged beyond use. You could regain the familiarity of home, and need to have water and food there, as well as warm clothing, fire starters, etc.
If you have to leave your home...throw couch cushions around, tip a few tables over...make it look like the place has already been ransacked. Continuation of another thread of wonderful people with the best ever ideas for practical prepping even for those with little money.
We discuss power outages including CME and EMP, heating and cooking methods, first aid, foods; we run disaster scenarios to see if we know what to do.
This is probably the only prepping thread a person would need, whether long-time prepper here to share, or newbie prepper here to learn and everyone in between.
