[quote:Anonymous Coward 79231772:MV8zOTYyNTk1Xzg2MTg5NDg5X0Y4QTY4MDND] re: pooping lived once in a situation where I had access only to a warm interior, no plumbing. Got a 5 gallon bucket, a toilet seat, plastic garbage bags. Propped the bucket with the seat on top against a wall, put a bag in to line it, and hightailed it to home depot where they were happy to supply me with all the free sawdust I wanted. They put it in big black plastic bags, and I picked it up. I'd tell them a day or two before i needed it and they got it for me every time. so you put the sawdust at the bottom of the bag, do your business, then cover it completely with another layer of sawdust. doesn't matter if you pee and poop together.., I am a woman, i did so, the layer of sawdust on top prevented any smell from being released. Someone with room to store it could likely get a large amt of sawdust. It works better than cat litter and dried leaves. [/quote]

Continuation of another thread of wonderful people with the best ever ideas for practical prepping even for those with little money.
We discuss power outages including CME and EMP, heating and cooking methods, first aid, foods; we run disaster scenarios to see if we know what to do.
This is probably the only prepping thread a person would need, whether long-time prepper here to share, or newbie prepper here to learn and everyone in between.
