If you are worried about the environmental effects of naturally occurring methane seeps, that have been active for millions of years, there is an easy, practical solution... Drill Baby, Drill! Instead of allowing methane to seep into the air, wasting a valuable resource and increasing the greenhouse effect, capture it and put it to use.
