An old favorite that escaped my series of failing iPods. It's nice to hear it, but why ever go back anywhere again? Everything dies and falls down behind you. The dead past, and the dead never seem to rise and live. I never could stir a woman from her doldrums, so I generally didn't try. Always moving on and looking for a happier greeting. Bridges just burned behind me, but I had to move on like Cain. Turnabout is fair play. Abel allowed Cain to kill him. Abel returned to life and appeared in Heaven before God, who acted surprised. Jesus described the story of the resurrection of the prodigal son. Abel went in the wilderness and fields while Cain labored hard on the farm. God favored Abel - you know the story. Abel asked that Cain be forgiven on the condition that he would replace him in the world - going into the wilderness and fields to cultivate a relationship with nature, which might have healed him of his fears and his arrogance. With no witness against Cain, God marked him and let him go, bearing the mark of Abel, which became known as the mark of Cain. Cain, of course, would not obey the order of God, but instead made cities and civilization. His descendants took to taking vengeance themselves when they were supposed to leave the vengeance to God. Or, do you think Jesus was lying or making it up when he told the story of the prodigal son? Of course, he told it in worldly terms, but there was the spiritual original. The spirit of the prodigal son can go into the world as it pleases, and out of it. Bound by God's law but altogether unbound otherwise by anything but love and curiosity. God doesn't order me - he asks if I want to help.
Have you ever actually won a chicken dinner
A chicken dinner is not the best prize in a big win. Are there times when you have felt that is exactly what you got?
I give it some time and let you all think about that one, or just give it some time til you start smelling that yummy chicken!
I am trying to think when I have won something that was no more or less then a greasy plate chicken dinner? Give me a few minutes. Meanwhile, a song
it is a long original song, so give us all time to think about this one?
