They claim to be "libertarian" but actions speak louder than words... A true libertarian/capitalist understands that a free market needs to operate free of interference to be effective. The Kochs want to imbalance wages by interfering with the labor supply thereby bringing their costs down. THAT is why they are open borders. OPEN BORDERS IS ANTI-CAPITALISM (Economics 101) because it affects supply/demand dynamics. The ONLY time open borders would be acceptable would be if all economies were operating free market worldwide or the remote possibility of a dire need of labor of some kind. Anyone who says that so-called "undocumented workers" should be given a free pass is for unfair wages. More than likely such people don't care about that because they are overpaid or they just want to pretend they are "better" than others who are acting "mean". The best way to improve wages is to let the actual market make self-corrections in wages. The market would then LOWER the wages of the less productive and RAISE the wages of others.
the Koch Bros are like Nazi thugs.. they are not loyal Americans nor are they conservatives. they should be fined personally for doing this.
They are ALSO NOT THE OWNERS OF THIS PLANT. Holy crap, the people on this thread yelling about the Koch brothers when they literally have nothing to do with this chicken processing plant. Before you all start throwing "facts" around, know what the facts are. I would 100% pay a few bucks more for products if it means an American makes the product, be it chicken or a light-bulb. 12.00 an hour in AR is a decent wage for that part of the US.
"Roughly 150 locals attended an August 12 job fair to apply for jobs at the Koch Foods’ plants in Mississippi."
"The job starts at $12 an hour, which is decent pay for the area, Whitley said. “That’s not bad to start, and it can always go up"
