[quote:Random NiNe:MV80MTM3MTY3Xzc1MTM5NDA3Xzc3MjhFODFC] I just left for a company meeting in Indianapolis and 5 minutes down the road I heard the announcement. I left very early so turned around to go home to watch tv. When I got there the second plane hit. I was numb. Left shortly afterward and drove the 45 minute drive listening to the radio along the way. After I got there the meeting started on time but no one was focused and everyone decided to stop and go to the tv monitors and watch the events unfolding. The meeting adjourned and everyone went home. Most of our stores closed very early as personnel could go home for the day. Great decision by the company as no one wanted to be working at the time. I was on the couch asleep and my mom called and told me.
I turned on the tv to see the second plane hit live.
I thought it was a replay of the first plane at first.
An hour later my military friends phoned and said they were headed out
