[quote:Excited Furniture:MV80MTM3MTY3Xzc1MTQzOTIxXzc5Mzg4MDhC] At that time I was the producer & sidekick on a talk show on the radio. We got the news pretty quickly and had satellite receivers in the control room since we were a news talk station. I saw the second plane hit live. My wife started rolling a VHS tape when all this happened, watching the tape today is pretty amazing. The host of the show I produced used to work in the Pentagon and knew people to call, so we jumped on the issue and that's all we did for days, report on what happened and what was going on. I think I pulled a 12 hour board shift that day. We later did a fund raiser for the Red Cross for the families and victims of the event and raised over $35k in 2 days. :doomsol: [/quote]

I was on the couch asleep and my mom called and told me.
I turned on the tv to see the second plane hit live.
I thought it was a replay of the first plane at first.
An hour later my military friends phoned and said they were headed out
