I think since this is GLP, we should at least debate the "crazy" possibility...

...picture some idiot firing the missile at a plane... it misses the plane... but arcs over and lands squarely in mid-town Manhattan blowing a hole open in the street and cracking the steam line.

Crazy, yeah, but... we've discussed far crazier things here.
