There is really nothing new to tell you guys, we are doing the routine, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The Graph in Dakotas arm is holding up so far and its being used instead of the chest port. There still has been no indication as when that will be removed. We have a new addition to our family. Dakota got a Parakeet (Budgerigar) its a baby, Green one. He's got it fairly tame real fast, sits on his hands and eats from his hand. Little sucker bites me when I stick my hand in the cage. Something to occupy his time with. We also want to extend our condolences to Beeches, we lost one of our extended Dialysis Family members with the passing of her Husband. https://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message4456029/pg1 :hf:
Thank you for the good update. You have no idea how needed it was for me today. I'll bet Dakota is having a blast with his parakeet. My gramma used to have them. They were all named Pretty Boy. She only had one at a time. The first one I got her was really smart and he learned to "talk". I went to the same pet store some years later to get her a new one. He was an ok bird, but nowhere as smart as the 1st one. The only thing I remember about them is if the stripe across it's beak is a darkish blue, it's a male. If it's more whiteish, it's a female. I also remember having to clean the cage for her. Stopped me a bunch of times from getting a bird. That and the cats and dogs we already had! LOL
My Family could use some Spiritual support right now. Prayers, White Light, Good Karma, what ever you have to send our way we'll take it. Our 21 year old son has been in ICU since Saturday night. Medical related emergency, his numbers are off the charts, his Thyroid especially. They are not sure what the problem is. They have him on Kidney dialysis, and today it was twice. He also received two Pints of blood today. He is stable, but the root cause has not been found yet. They have a kidney Biopsy scheduled for friday, its been rescheduled twice already. He is alert, and surround by family and friends. Thank you in advance for your support.
