[quote:Zerubbabel:MV80MTU2MjYyXzc1NzI1NTMyXzM4QTFEQkYy] [quote:anonym0us coward:MV80MTU2MjYyXzc1NzIzNTYyXzYwQkQ3MDZC] [quote:Zerubbabel:MV80MTU2MjYyXzc1NzIxNDg4X0I1MjAxNjQ3] In the meantime, I can give you a little idea why the shape of the temple threw me off so much: The Holy and the Most Holy Places are surrounded by chambers. The bottom row of chambers were 5 feet by 5 feet by 5 feet square. Each one of these chambers had a window and doors that entered and exited each chamber. The "windows" were unique in that they were increasingly smaller and all the windows pointed INWARD. By increasingly smaller, I mean in the sense that the windows were pointed in stream that grew smaller and the surface of the window grew smaller--much like what a laser would look like. In fact, the material that the windows were made of were "agates" in the same sense of rubies. Only the first three stories of chambers are listed and shown in the Scriptures. However, the chambers continue upward completely around the temple until it reaches the top floor of the "tower" that measures 120 cubits tall. At one point in the Scripture, only one dimension is given and that is for the top floor of the tower. If we continue the natural progression from top to bottom, we end up with a BOWL SHAPE that totally threw me off in ANY DEPICTION of the Old Testament Sanctuary. There is much more...much,much more.
I've been listening to lectures about the Temple and Sukkot to try to understand the importance of both. None of the speakers go into that much detail, so I have to admit this is very advanced from anything I've learned so far. Mark Biltz does explain a lot but it's still quite basic. How much of the details are in Scriptures? Is this the original Temple you are describing or the New Jerusalem?
I have long found that the Catholic church robbed the narrative and created churches throughout the world with STEEPLES, showing that they had stolen the design from the scriptures and nowhere in literature can you find a picture of the Old Testament Sanctuary with the 120 cubit "tower". Yet, it is clear that the Temple was originally built to specifications of the Scriptures, and the height of the tower only led to its grandeur over everything in the city--especially if it displayed the qualities as shown in the object escaping from the sun. Literally, ALL OF THE DETAILS are contained within the Scriptures and they are "here a little, and there a little". In the end, it is New Jerusalem which emerges from the shadows and fullfills the PARENTHETICAL PROPHECY of Revelation 10 and Chapter 11 up to verse 15. Believe me, it is very difficult finding the narrative in the Scriptures when it is scattered in what seems unconnected directions and in seemingly unrelated places. Yet, it all connects and prepares the way for what we are doing at this very moment. Each time I get into trying to relate it to others, I discover new things and seek new ways to make it palatable to the senses of others--not always an easy thing to do when dealing with a variety of unknowns. There is much more to come that will need its own thread.
Edit 10th October:
To cut a long story short, when Sukkot begins the Pope will have been in office for 2400 days since his inauguration on 19th March 2013.
I have edited the title to reflect this.
My initial thread was more about Yom Kippur as there are many signs pointing to Yom Kippur being a very high watch date. My calculation of the Pope's 2400 days was based on the day he was elected and not the day he was inaugurated.
My original post is below:
There seems to be many reasons to watch this Yom Kippur.
One of the special readings for Jewish people on Yom Kippur is the story of Jonah.
As Jesus said in Matthew 12:38
38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees told Jesus,[a] “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”
39 But he replied to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign.
Yet no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah,
