Staff at a hospital in Tokyo have been busy removing water that poured into the first floor of its five-story riverside building after Typhoon Hagibis swept through the area.

The water flooded surrounding roads and partially submerged Setagaya Memorial Hospital in Tokyo's Setagaya Ward on Saturday.

The staff say the water started to come in at about 2 p.m. and reached chest height.
