Though some parts are complete crime ridden third world shitholes..
NOT COOLs, here is the thing. There are kinks in your logic. Boomers werent fed organic food, more like GMO frankenfood, whom your generations proliferated. Second, 125 years?! How do you think that will happen? Do you think the US gov will let you live that long? not to mention the boomers are pretty stagnant in your lifestyle. Golf doesnt count as exercise, unless you walk 18 holes a day. Your system will break under its own entitlement weight if you lived to 125 yo on average. Third, your health system the boomers created is all vaccines and prescription drugs that lead to the need to take other prescription drugs. Unless your generation embraces a truly natural healing alternative you will not see 90 years old on average. I understand the boomers like to think you worked hard to be the best but just because youre a canoe paddler, doesnt mean you went anywhere and did it right. Hard work so you dont have to work anymore in the Golden Years ends up costing energy in one way or form and you end up paying for your convenience sometime.
The U.S. is at the beginning of a tidal wave of homes hitting the market on the scale of the housing bubble in the mid-2000s. This time it won’t be driven by overbuilding, easy credit or irrational exuberance, but by an inevitable fact of life: the passing of the baby boomer generation.
One in eight owner-occupied homes in the U.S., or roughly nine million residences, are set to hit the market from 2017 through 2027 as the baby boomers start to die in larger numbers, according to an analysis by Issi Romem conducted while he was a senior director of housing and urban economics at Zillow. That is up from roughly 7 million homes in the prior decade.
By 2037, one quarter of the U.S. for-sale housing stock, or roughly 21 million homes will be vacated by seniors. That is more than twice the number of new properties built during a 10-year period that spanned the last housing bubble.
