[quote:Loup Garou:MV80MjEyMTc1Xzc2NjE4OTk4X0Y4NUJEMThB] I have a dear friend who volunteers to be a watcher of the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration society. They sit with the Eucharist and are in constant prayer, 24/7- 365. Truly a place where prayer never ceases. They all dedicate a few hours each week, some several days per week. Truly the JUST people that the bible speaks of. Anyway, for the past 25 years she has worked all year gathering supplies to bring to homeless people each Christmas. Always warm clothes, toiletries and food. She is a rare treasure that walks among us mere mortals.. We need more of her kind and less of the poisonous filth that are paraded about on the Bought and Paid for media and all social media platforms. Kindness costs so little in the greater scheme of things. [/quote]

Our house burned down.. and apart from Charlie-Brown (our dog), saving us, I also just got out from nearly dying for 18 months...
So anyhoos.... we decided to pay forward.....
We had a Air B&B? It didn't burn down, but we were stuck in it for over the last 18 months whilst our house got fixed.... almost divorced 20 million times.....
So... we had a lot of things that were to use for the people that stayed there, that we no longer needed...
We decided to put homeless packages together (which we drop of tomorrow) for the clientele Christmas party, and volunteer for the day (as our multi-millionaire family needs shit)
So we pack ed it all in supermarket bags (so they don't stand out)
they get this:
soap
shampoo
conditioner
shaver
brush
comb
soup sachet
raman noodles
present (various)
tissues
toilet paper
(girls get obvious sanitary items)
coffee
tea
chocolate drink
Sugar
Powdered Milk
sturdy glass reusable large canister
small lolly packet
various numbers for help lines
a note pad and a pen

Hopefully enough to see them through the silly season, and not feel forgotten.
We will do this again next year....
God bless....
