This isn't entirely correct considering they don't track the cost of groceries in inflation. And I seriously doubt they really count the cost of housing either considering in 1992 I could probably buy the house I am living in now for like 50,000 where as now it is over 250k.
Yes , it varies from place to place ... depending on where You live ... I grew up in Kokomo Indiana and it used to be the cheapest place in America to live in the 80's ... You have to look for bargains nowadays ... supply and demand ... When I go grocery shopping I only buy what's on sale ... especially meat ...
the starbucks staff now make $12 an hour to work like whores on crack.
back in 1992 i paid $375 per month to live in a gated community with tennis courts, sauna, swimming pool, a front gate security guard on Lake Murray in La Mesa, CA (just outside San Diego).
for a 1 bedroom here now you pay at least $1,000-1,500 per month without any of those amenities
gas back then was $1.15 per gallon. now it is $4.00 per gallon.
food in 1992 cost 1/2 of what it costs now
back then you could get a sandwitch for 1/2 the price or a coffee
SO HOW ARE THESE PEOPLE PAYING FOR ALL THIS STUFF IF THIS WORLD IS SUPPOSEDLY REAL?
I EVEN LOOKED AT 6 PAIRS OF SOCKS IN WALGREENS YESTERDAY AND THE MOST INEXPENSIVE WAS $13,50
THIS WORLD IS DOOMED!!!!
